Thinking about getting a Nissan Di 622 MkII Flashgun and I notice on the Amazon website there is a newer alternative the Nissan Di 622 MkII NEU at about £30 higher. Does anyone know what is the difference between them as I cannot find any info about the newer one.
 
Yes, sorry typing error. I have looked with the correct spelling but no joy.
 
of the pair get the mark 2, this can be used with a set of wireless triggers unlike the mark 1, it also has a port to connect to
 
What I don't understand is that they are both described as MkII but the dearer one has a NEU suffix to it.
 
Neu is New in German. Maybe someone wanted to add "new" in description?
 
I bought the nissin di866 mk2 which is the newest version and I love it, apart from it not being weather proofed like the 580ex it is very much a great match at a £100 less.

Even the guide rate is slightly higher than the canon on brand.

Also it works as a master , deffo recommend it
 
I have just sent an email through Amazon to Zeus Photo who supply both versions of the flashgun. Will let you know the result if I get an answer.
