The problem is that Nintendo actually issued an announcement a few months back, saying that they weren't going to be able to meet demand over the xmas period.
At that point most places had Wii's in stock. So anyone who frequented games sites, and saw the announcement, rushed out and bought as many as they could to put on EBay around about now! Bit cheeky, but given that they can easily double their money, you can't really blame them...
What does bug me is that in the majority of shops, when they do get stock in, won't sell you the basic £180 console. Instead they only give you the option of buying it as part of a £300 bundle! Cheeky sods.
It doesn't really affect me, I've had mine since March, but it annoys me that they're fleecing parents who are just trying to sort out xmas for their kids! :nono:
