That’s a very nice shot Nick. I had something similar to post but it wasn’t nearly as good, so I went with something completely different.

Week 13 - Flora

Finally got a negative covid test this morning, so headed out first thing. It was a lovely cold, frosty and sunny morning, and I spotted these backlit bullrushes which I thought would fit this weeks theme.

Lovely backlight, really emphasises the softness of the bullrush seed heads
 
The like is for the negative test as well as for the shot!

Beautiful back light on the bullrush. Must be nice to be back out again!
 
I really like the hard lighting, and the light to dark fade in the BG.
 
Week 14 - Unusual

Around 10 years ago, my Wife and I were having a look around a local craft shop, where the owners(local artists) hand made most of the items they sold. This was one of those items, and I thought it was so unusual that I bought it :)

Definitely unusual. I'm not sure why, but it makes me think of Alice in Wonderland.

Well photographed. I like the lighting and choice of background.
