Thank you HelenLovely atmospheric shot.
Thank youLovely composition and colours.
ThanksThe contrasting background works well.
Thanks Simon. The shot is looking up at a sky light in my local shopping centre, and I did consider cropping out the light sources at the edges, but ultimately left them in as I thought they added a certain amount of symmetry to the shot.An interesting image. Not quite been blue to work out what’s going on here, but I like it.
I might have been tempted to either clone out or crop out the left hand corners where there appears to be some light coming 8n against whatever the background is.
Good shout thanks. I might have a go at thatI agree with Simon that this is an interesting image and I like it as well. For me it's interesting for what you could do with it. I can imagine cloning out the sky and having the skylight look out to an underwater scene or the milky way. Many possibilities!
Thanks PeterI thought at first glance it was a porthole. It's good that you made us think.
Thanks Alan.Interesting, creates a debate. Well spotted
Thank youI like the contrasts in the image. If the reflection of the window bars were cloned out, the background would really suck you in
Thanks HelenA really interesting image for the theme.
ThanksNice composition and well-executed. Also it is very symmetrical.
Thank you SimonThe contrast between the black and blue does it for me. Lovely shot!
Thanks Stuart.Alley - I like how you have captured the light reflecting in the puddles. Are the lights different colours due to the type of bulb? The second one definitely conveys a moody scene
Heavy - lots of interesting patterns and plenty to keep you occupied, is it my eyes or does it need rotated slightly to the right?
Light - Two minds whether the shadows at the left top/bottom add or detract. Personally I would have tried the perspective tool to stretch the image to see who it looked without them.
Thank youLight - that works really well - it reminds me of an eyeball, or being inside a space ship looking out.
I WISH I had a skylight like that in my houseI’m really disappointed, when I first saw this I thought this was in your house and was full of administration lol. Great shot in noticing this and executing. To get that exposed properly must have been a challenge.
Thanks Simon. That's a nice shot Shirley and ticks both theme and tech boxes nicely.
Thank you Helen. That works well for both. Almost an abstract style of image.
Thank youPerfect for the theme and the tech, and I like your chosen portrait aspect.
ThanksThat's a pretty clean image for 8000iSO Nick. Looks good.
