When adapting lenses to the Nikon Z7, does the in body stabilisation still work or do you need native lenses?
Thanks

Welcome to the Z, and to the forum. Yes, the Z stabilisation works fine with manual (not electronically linked) lenses. Just remember to set the focal length appropriate to allow the body to decide just how much stabilisation to apply. When adapting lenses to the Nikon Z7, does the in body stabilisation still work or do you need native lenses?

So would a native VR lens for the Z mount allow for in body stabilisation and lens stabilisation to be activated at the same time ? Or Is it just the adapted lenses where it’s either the lens stabilisation or just the in body stabilisation?
As above, no z lenses (yet) have VR, they all rely on IBIS. Adapted lenses with Nikon VR will use the lens VR and not IBIS, adapted Nikon lenses without VR will use IBIS.So would a native VR lens for the Z mount allow for in body stabilisation and lens stabilisation to be activated at the same time ?
