I had a Duracell but it wasn't accepted by the Zf. Maybe from an early batch as I've heard that others do.thanks
interesting the Duracells work quite a few posts saying they don't work on the z8

love the pale textures on this one against the threatening sky. Very distinctive!
Thanks David. Normally I find myself warming an image but this time I left it cool - because it was freezing!love the pale textures on this one against the threatening sky. Very distinctive!

MonopodExcellent shot, but how did you manage to hold the lens?![]()
It must be one hefty monopod to hold a lens with an objective of around 1.25m in diameterMonopod

It's actually being sold by a company called "Happy Frog". I would be a little wary.Amazon currently have the Zf for £1418, is this classed as a 'grey import' or just a good deal?
I saw that, wasn't sure how the Amazon warranty would (or wouldn't) work..It's actually being sold by a company called "Happy Frog". I would be a little wary.
I know it’s grey. But I’d be far more comfortable using Panamoz.Amazon currently have the Zf for £1418, is this classed as a 'grey import' or just a good deal?

£1380 at Panamoz and a 3 year warrantyAmazon currently have the Zf for £1418, is this classed as a 'grey import' or just a good deal?
£1269 at Cotswold with a 3 year warranty or £1368 with 5 yearsyup so would i.

Looks like most of their items are cheaper than Panamoz, but we dont know how their warranty works. We know Panamoz has been good with any issues.£1269 at Cotswold with a 3 year warranty or £1368 with 5 years
I have heard (but never used them) a few complaints about Cotswold, and also a few compliments. I’ve only heard and experienced good things about Panamoz. Peace of mind is worth a few quid. I try to buy from UK retailers wherever the price is broadly comparable, but I’m a realist on a pensioner’s money.Looks like most of their items are cheaper than Panamoz, but we dont know how their warranty works. Fair enough.

Brody by Trevor, on FlickrBrody eyes look fine to me and especially when looking at the larger photo via Flickr, some great detail there. Nice your not hating the camera at the moment. I've had my ZF just over a week and it' growing on me, it's a lot chunkier than the ZFC it replaced for travel.2nd Time with the Z6iii
Paired with he Z 35 f1.8
Nothing special.
Getting a bit more used to the camera. Not hating it.
Results as expected.

Mate. The Zf spoils you. It’s just so good. Not to mention how beautiful it looks.Brody eyes look fine to me and especially when looking at the larger photo via Flickr, some great detail there. .Only the Voigtlander 50mm f2 APO lens which I haven't tried yet on the ZF, I love it on my Z8.Mate. The Zf spoils you. It’s just so good. Not to mention how beautiful it looks.
Got any manual focus lenses for it ?
Nice. It’s a fantastic piece of equipment.Only the Voigtlander 50mm f2 APO lens which I haven't tried yet on the ZF, I love it on my Z8.
That’s a lovely shot. Congratulations on the Z6iii^Well that's unfortunate
I started off taking pictures with a D3100 and later bought a D3400 body that became my primary for over a decade. I decided to upgrade to the D7500 and just clashed with it. I can't exactly explain why, but it sucked the muse out of me anytime I picked it up. It allowed me to capture some pretty amazing pictures, but it just didn't feel "right." I started looking into mirrorless and apprehensively took the plunge while Nikon had its 0% interest for 12 months with a Z6III. I've always liked Nikon and given my current investment in glass from my D body lenses, so an adapter would allow me to keep them. It just seemed to make sense to stick to what I've known, per se. The win in it all is I've found joy in carrying my camera around again after a very lengthy stretch of not quite feeling it.
One of the first pictures I captured with it was the one I'm including in my reply. Paired with a 24-120 f4 lens, some generous warmth from the setting sun and a horse sitting still just long enough to grab the crisp/clarity I hoped to snag. Very little editing was necessary, I'm a minimalist in that sense anyway, but I brought the warmth up a tick and added a diluted vignette border.

I have found that some of the other bank settings have also changed as well as the Mode setting. For others....
Please be aware that the Z8 firmware v2.10 update resets all your custom banks A-D to P mode.
Thanks Nikon.... Was this really necessary?
