Good afternoon,

I’ve just picked the missus up at Nikon Z50 and a Z6ii will be winging its way to me soon.

An older F Mount 70-200mm F2.8 is incredibly well priced now. Obviously the new Z version is significantly more expensive.

Any reason not to go for the older version and a converter, which I need anyway for my current F mount lenses?

Thanks all!

The "new" version is strongly rumoured to be replaced soon, with a mk ii.
I would wait until end Jan before deciding, as when it is announced the mk 1 version price will fall.

Also worth taking a look at the Nikon 70-180mm 2.8 Z as an alternative to the 70-200mm 2.8 Z, much lighter and no adapter required.
Or the Tamron version.
