Nikon wide angle

Anyone had any experience of the Nikon 24mm f2.8 AF as advertised here: http://www.mxv.co.uk/detail.asp?f_type=C&Submit=Submit&hf_fit=nikon+af

I've read some reviews for the "D" version of this lens, but it seems to me that it could be quite old.

Could be up to 20 years old, at that price I'd be assuming it probably is. Worth dropping them an email and finding out though....
