Does anyone know if the Nikon VR (24-120 V2) lenses work on film cameras like the F90X for example?
Regards,
Alan

The F90X isn't fully compatible - doesn't do VR and can't control the aperture from the body (so no A or M mode, as that's a 'G' lens without an aperture ring).

The F5, F6, F100, F80, F75 and F65 are both VR-compatible and G-compatible, and so will be fine with that lens.

None of the film bodies can control the aperture on the very latest electronic aperture 'E' lenses like the new 24-70 mm f/2.8E, but Nikon hasn't used this technology in any 24-120.

Hi Alan,
retrofit is a word dearest to Nikon users.

None of the newer features will work of course but
the lens should accommodate your ambitions.

Just check a detail and found something else…
Is that a "g" lens? v (KR)
