Nikon View NX crashing

Hi I hope some one can help I have Nikon View NX on my laptop which is running windows vista.

The problem is View nx keeps crashing it loads and the crashes after about a minute. With windows saying its closing the program I have down loaded the latest version from the Nikon site but still the same thing happens.

Has any one had the same problem?
Please could some one let me know if there is away to fix the problem?

Has it done that since it was first installed or did it previously work OK.

Could be a confliction with another program so try closing down anything else that is running, e.g anti-virus.
Have you adequate memory (RAM)?
Corrupted NX program - uninstall and re-install.

I'd post this in the Computing Section. Maybe more folk in the know on that.
