Yes
Internal battery on My Nikon V2 (AKA clock battery) appears dead. Need to reset the clock every time you take out the battery. Apart from a very expensive send to Nikon, any ideas? Googling doesn't seem to bring up much positivity, so not sure if any boffins out there have any ideas...?

You've probably already tried leaving it with a fully charged main battery for a few days to charge the clock battery completely (if it still works)?

Makes sense and is echoed here https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3340462 where one poster says to make sure there is always a charged main usage battery in place and if the internal battery is flat it should take and maintain charge after 72 hours!

Yes already tried that :( Only thing I might do, is try leaving the camera on peramsntly and get an AC adapter so the camera is actually switched on!
