If you had the choice of the Nikon TC'S which would choose and why?

They would be for use on the 400mm f/2.8 and 70-200MKII (and possibly the 200-400 in the future) on D3/D3S

1.4 as less light is lost.

For you, a 2 x ideal but 2 stops down. That said, D3s? No drama.
 
The new 2 x III every time now. Nothing touches it. I'm convinced there's witchcraft in there somewhere.

Andy,..... I've been using the 400-2.8vr with the 1.4tc today on the D3,.... PM me you're email addy and I'll send you a raw file straight off the memory card, if you want to see the IQ quality.
