Arghhhhhhhhhh...NO, NO...I here you scream :nono:

Stupid question I know, but I thought I'd confirm it.

Just bought meself a SB-700, the stand that comes with it is PLASTIC.

My flash bracket for remote mounting has a METAL holder (hot-shoe) which I assume would nicely short out the whole thing.

Anyone know where I can get an ALL PLASTIC holder (cold-shoe) that articulates for tilting.

This will fit on most of the umbrella adapters that are currently available, if you look at other listings from cotswold and others you will see it, your current hot shoe will probably just unscrew and can be replaced with this

This will screw directly onto the top of adapters such as the Calumet umbrella adapter, the Manfrotto 026 and many many others

Link to full adapter with hotshoe

Thanks again Adrian, but I do not have an Ebay account.

This is plastic I have checked, do you think it would suffice?

Hi Dave looks fine, but for me I just dont want to mount my speedlites on plastic, Im sure cotswold sell outside ebay, if not have a look at Calumet they do varying different adapters which would suit, they also do a full adapter which has a metal hotshoe Herehttp://www.calumetphoto.co.uk/item/MF6829/ but they also do the hotshoe on its own, also they supply the Manfrotto swivel adapter and their own clone of it which is £10 cheaper, they do lots of different adapters which may suit your needs
