Trying to find out the shutter count on my Nikon D300. I've done a search on the forum and couldn't find much but I'm sure this has been asked many a time.

I remember a way of opening a file in PS and looking in the exif data under 'image number' but I cannot see this. Whats the best way to find out the shutter count, mac based?

look in the exif data, post a link to a pic and we can see for you ;)
 
If you're on a mac use Preview and go Tools > Inspector

In PS go file > file info > then I think it's advanced > http:adobe...... Should say shutter actuations
 
So how did you find the shutter count in PhotoShop?

Any help greatly appreciated. :thumbs:
