Where will I find the serial number for my D70? I know this sounds like a really dim question, but I'm just registering on the Nikon site (ok, I'm a bit slow - I've only had the camera for 2 years :lol:), and it asks for the serial number but i can't see one :thinking:
 
Bottom of the camera, above the label - I think that's it.

It's quite faint, gray on black!
 
Thanks Hoodi - I would never have spotted that... I looked at the label which was the obvious place - it's engraved just above it!
 
Hmmm.. well that was interesting. Couldn't register on the European site as my serial number wasn't recognised.... the camera came from USA so had to register with Nikon USA :eek: Anyhow, it's all updated now and I have the funky new menu layout :D and I get the correct number of exposures now too instead of having to guess how many shots I have left to take in RAW :lol:
 
Yeah, that was always a prob on the old firmware. You bringing your cam along on Friday?
 
Hmm...probably not, especially if I'm coming straight from work. I don't fancy taking it to work with me - dodgy lot in Basingstoke ;)
