Can anyone please help me regading the PIN arrangment on the SB800 flashgun. I have just taken delivery of a new battery pack, a yongnuo Sf 18
which has the incorrect plug fitted but when I did try to plug it in I noticed that one of the three male pins on the flashgun is receded right in leaving just 2 pins at the top. I have never had the rubber cover off before so never looked at it . Does anyone know if this is correct , or is my flash gun got faulty pins on the socket. I would be grateful for any help.colin .

Do you mean here or in the battery compartment or the very front of the gun?

If it it's the flashguns bottom plate then it's the locking pin that comes down when you turn lock the gun on, if it's the front under the sensor then one is more recesssed than the other two
