Nikon RAW NEF files and Lightroom

Is there such a thing as a preset that can be applied to a Nikon RAW, NEF file to display what the jpeg would look like ……….. or am I talking rubbish?

All my RAW files seem to need far more processing than the jpeg files, happen with all my three bodies, V1, D700 and D7100
