Nikon nightmare

Dear Ed

I had a dream last night. I was doing a wedding shoot and I suddenly had a Nikon in my hand. No idea how to set it up for manual - couldn't find the dials - and I was getting very stressed at the thought of going auto.

The thing is - it felt good in my hand :help:

Should I feel guilty?

I had a similar dream, but my partner woke me up with a slap and told me to put it down it's dirty.:shrug:

Don't try it for real, I reckon it could feel even better. With the exception of the 1 series canons, I've always thought the Nikons feel more comfy. :D

Maybe it wasn't a dream, maybe it's a premonition!
Y'best start reading manuals and rehearsing Nikon ergonomics, there's a button for everything you know :naughty:
 
For many years I had bad dreams about golf. Could never get to hit the ball, always someone or thing in the way, clubs breaking etc. Now I have bad dreams about photography always someone or thing in the way, wrong settings, low battery etc.
I don't think my subconscious likes me very much. :shrug:

You know I do like the look of the D3 and the 700 but I can't aford to make the switch - lenses and all. Jeez I am going to need therapy at this rate.

Andy it was only a nightmare. The sort of Grass is greener sort of thing. The moral of the story is that once on the other side you realise the grass was better where you were
 
Its OK Andy, next time you have this Nikonmare just remember lots of loud noise and it'll bring you round. :thumbs:
 
Haha thanks for the advice guys. I took the 5D out for a meal so I feel a bit better about it now. I explained how it was a one night stand and it means nothing.

Oooh but it did feel good:bonk:
 
Ohh and now my new credit card just arrived. What am I to do now?
