Nikon mirrorless definitely on the way

In June 2000, Northrup won the Sexiest Geek Alive contest.[4] Following the contest he made appearances on several TV shows, including Good Morning America,[5] the Montel Williams Show,[6] and To Tell The Truth.[7] Northrup has spoken at conferences and hosted events[8] and webcasts.[9][10] Northrup is regularly cited as a technology expert.[11][12][13] Northrup created a series of videos[14] and a book showing how to use technology to create custom solutions to common problems.

I will never be able to afford one of these now,but I do enjoy seeing the development of good new gear.it would be wasted on me so it’s just nice to
watch the show

Nikon ambassador saying he’s not a Nikon puppet and will give an honest review yet is the only person to praise AF and say the camera is a revelation??? Who’s he trying to kid? Reading by the responses a lot have bought it hook line and sinker

As I said earlier I do find all the fan boy stuff a little... off putting.

I'm sure they're nice cameras and we really should wait for more reviews to judge how good they are but at the moment I do think it's fair to judge the spec a little and say that on that these cameras are perhaps a little behind what some were hoping for.

As a former Nikon user I have a bit of a soft spot for the kit but not so much that I'd blindly buy it over anything I thought was better but I would like to have a play with one one day :D Just for old times sake :D Until then I have some Nikon primes I can use on my A7 and if I do buy a new camera it'll probably be another A7 :D

Yes indeed .................turn her head in my direction :) @Cagey75 - she clearly likes the older man so you are a non starter, plus I would tell her what you said about her nose :p

Her nose wouldn't matter the angle I'd be coming from! .... lol, getting a bit dirty now :D Tony is only 2 years older than me btw

Haha :D Mine wouldn't either :D

She spends her on line time looking at bramble recipes...

Mine is either on some make up tutorial youtube channel or on FB sharing 'hilarious' cat memes with her friends, and she says this whole camera thing is nerdy :LOL:

To be fair, mine is very understanding, she prefers that I'm on here rather than looking at pornhub i guess :D

I'm hardly ever in, always out... picking brambles.

Your recent bramble images brought me back to my childhood, my Dad used to get a bunch of us from the estate to help picking them, was tonnes of them in the fields behind our estate. He'd make jam, lots of jam and blackberry [what we mostly call them] tarts and crumble. Often mixed with apples or rhubarb from my Granddad's garden :) We have some growing out back here, just scattered bunches here and there, the birds get them pretty fast. Must get some macro of them actually ...

...........anyway; I'm out of here - upset enough people and feel it needs to wait for the real product now. Thanks for the entertainment everyone.

By brambles u mean blackberries.? Tonnes of them in the hedgerows bottom of my garden ,might pick some myself tomorrow ,just finally retired today and did you know they are one of the most potent sources of Salvesterols, anti cancer compounds and all free

Yes, blackberries... same thing. They grow all over the place here. I didn't know exactly what health benefits they have as I tune out when Mrs WW talks about that sort of stuff :D If you pick some remember to soak them in salty water to drive any worms or other creepie crawlies out. Wash with clean water and sprinkle with sugar for a nice taste and before making into pies :D Last year they were full of creepies but this year they've been clear.

You retired today??? I retired at 49 :D That was eight years ago :D

Sorry to take the thread off track :D

Now, about those new Nikon cameras...

Oh s,,,,t .i often just lick them then spit out then eat straight from the bush, hmm, might do the salt jobby

Upset people? Get on my level! :D I never worry about that, let the easily offended do that. Have a good 'un

You must have a big freezer for the amount you pick! :D

Yup, we call them blackberries over here too, did not know that about them but knew they were 'good for you' as yer parents would say to just about anything to get you to eat it
