Nikon MC-36A?

Has anyone got this updated version of the MC-36? The MC-36A?

Price difference is huge and the only difference is material used in making it but does exactly same thing.

Couldn't believe it when I was looking for one to buy.

Anyone know any reasons why you should get the 36A?

Don't know the answer, but having got a cheap (£9) copy off eBay, why would anyone buy the Nikon one?
Don't get me wrong here, I gave a fair few nikon lenes and can see where the money goes with them, but with what us essentially a switch and a timer, Nikon's own mc-36 is expensive.

I bought one from Amazon last week. It's the same as the one I was using on my 5DMKIII for two years.

Basic lesson doesn't matter about the difference! Just don't bother with the Nikon version
