Nikon MC-30 remote cord replacement

I just lost my MC-30, I dont fancy spending another £50 but I really need one. Are there any cheaper options? I think ive seen a few but I dont know if they are any good. Thanks in advance.

I have one of these: clicky and I really can't fault it. I was really dissapointed that the fancy Nikon infrared remote I have has no feature to lock the button down .

I've gone for the Phottix. I went for the Cleon N8 (for Nikon), which can be used wired or wireless, and does everything you could need (was £23, but more advanced than cheaper options).

Does the lock down mean I can keep the shutter open without holding it down?
