I was just wondering if any of you were using Nikon Image Space yet and if so, what you thought of it?

I have signed up and grabbed my free upgrade to 20GB. At the moment I am just using it as yet another backup for my NEF files, but I may have a play around with it as it seems vaguely useful and has potential.

I signed up for it and got the upgrade, using it at the moment as storage for all Scout related jpegs.
Not really sure if it's going to be of any real use but thought what the hek, can't have enough storage space I guess.

Signed up and no registration email ... tried again and double-checked everything, still no email

Email blocked at server level :(
Eventually registered and logged in and requested upgrade ... installed software ... still showing 2GB - Desktop upload won't upload folders and doesn't recognise .nef files on the camera
Don't think I'll be wasting much time on this one.

its ok for storage, sharing seems difficult though, time will tell

I find it a bit clunky. It's a nice looking interface but not being able to add an inmage to mutiple folders is a nuisance.

I also find it a bit slow.

All in all it's a long way behind Flickr

Just gave it a go with a quick test upload.

Seems if you upload a small 1024 res pic it will stretch it losing sharpness.

Just opened an account, installed the free upgrade and tried this for the first (and maybe last) time. Can't upoad .NEF files and even full size, high resolution .JPG images that look great in LR, CS6 and ViewNX2 look out of focus/blurred

I use “Virgin Back up and Storage.” £5 a month for unlimited space. I have already banked over 70gb, that can’t be bad, can it?

My NEFs have uploaded fine, but I agree it is a pretty shocking UI with poor usability.

NEF uploads fine and found how to link directly to the pic at 100% size now.
