Hi,

I know there will be an official one out there, but whats yours?

At the mo I've a 85mm 1.8G and 24-120 f4, but I'm looking to fill the gaps with some really great glass.

I very nearly went with a 70-200 2.8, but thankfully it sort of fell through which given I didn't get on with the 70-200's on Canon is maybe just as well :)

I'm ruling out things like macro (I'll have the 90mm in a few days anyway but thats for macro dhh!), but would consider a long cheapish birding, like a 150-600.

So what would you go for?

Lenses are just tools....

The most useful lens is the one on your camera at the time you take the shot.

The best lenses are the most expensive (yes there are exceptions) however you generally get what you pay for.

NIkon 24-70 2.8 I consider the best lens I have ever used in 30 years of photography, swap your 24-120 for one :)
