Nikon FM2

Hi,

I recently picked up an FM2 for a decent price but the meter seems to be dead. Ive read the manual, made sure the lever is half cocked, replaced the batteries etc.

Is this a common fault? I guess Im hoping there might be something silly Ive missed or if there is an easy fix without having it seen to?

Anybody any suggestions?

Ach, still dead

Clean the contacts/battery holder, my F3 and FM2n wouldn't work with a certain battery holder until I cleaned it properly.

Fixed it - for some reason batteries that I was using in a Minolta (and seemed to work) didn't work with the FM2. I ordered a new set, cleaned the contacts and we're good
