Hello all,
Just saw a Nikon FG for sale nearby and wondered if anyone had thoughts/experience with the camera? I looked on the internet and all I know is that it was made in the 80s. I played around with it for a bit and it seemed decent, but the internet had little information to divulge as far as actual functionality. In addition to the camera, it came with a 50mm f1.5 Nikon, 28mm f2.8 Sigma, and a 70-210mm zoom (not sure what brand). The person selling it wants $50, or 32 pounds for the lot.
Any advice?
Thanks!
Edited to add: I was really hoping to buy a Minolta 5 or thereabouts so that I could use Minolta lenses on both the film camera and my own Sony. But, if this camera seems pretty decent, the setup would be enough for now. Is it worth it to me to wait for a Minolta or just go ahead with the Nikon because its price is low enough?
