Wooo, just won one on e-bay for a mere £46.00 :woot:

Cant wait untill I get my mits on it!

Can anyone recomend a decent book for basic film photography? Never used one in my life  Just felt like I had missed out on the best bits of photography so I had to buy one.

Best bet is to visit your local library and have a look at any books they have there that relate to film. Then trawl through charity shops and if that fails, Amazon and other bookshops.

The 35mm Photographer's handbook is worth a read, as is Basic Photography by Michael Langford. There are plenty of others dealing with almost every aspect from film choice to final printing techniques.

For film, I've used 7dayshop and Mailshots. For D&P of print film, I prefer to use whichever High Street shop is doing the best deal then I use the 6x4s as proofs to see which negs are worth scanning and enlarging. For slides, I send them off to FujiLabs and for B&W, I shoot in colour then convert in PS!

Have fun with the F80 but remember that 37 or 38 shots per film is the limit and it's all too easy to forget that if you're used to shooting digital!!!

ETA-
Remember that any Dx lenses will vignette on the F80 and that your lenses will appear to be wider than they do on your D200.

Last time it was the Devon Camera Centre and was about a fiver for 37 on their overnight service. I'm not that fussy though - it tends to depend on price since the developing seems to be fairly consistantly good and I only really use the prints as proofs. I prefer to use in-store labs since then I can shout at the person who does the D&P if they mess it up, although it's not often that happens. I've also used Jessops, SnappySnaps and TruPrint but not in the past 6 months.
