Nikon DX Lens on FX camera?

My lens line up:

50mm f1.4
18-200 AF-S VR (DX)
70-200 AF-S VR
Sigma 18-50 f2.8 HSM

I have a D300 but I'm considering the supposed D700. Would the FF sensor be partly wasted with the above lenses?
 
What about the 70-200? It's not specified as a DX lens. Ken Rockwell seems to think it's fine, although I'm wary of him in general.

What about vignetting? Also, I'm assuming I won't have the 1.6 crop factor.

I never bought it as I was told it had a few "tiny" issues, and I was also told a new version was on the way which would be optimised for Full Frame.

Rather than risk it, I went for the wide angle full frame lens instead. I wanted the 70 to 200 more though.

Never ever trust a dealer or salesman for advice about cameras.

I'd trust them no more than I'd trust an elderly relative in the hands of Dr Harold Shipman.
 
it says on the new nikon d700 official page that it has a mode especially for dx lenses and i assume it crops the sensor when one is put on. Best start saving up 2 grand now boys and girls :)
 
It vignettes slightly in the corners, seems to be on a case by case basis though. Mine seems to be fine.
