Nikon DL cameras delayed “indefinitely”?

It's a pitty the one has a lens ive been calling for since I've been into photography. A 18-50ish ff equivalent lens would be the only lens I would ever need.
 
I'm hoping Sony has something up its corporate sleeve for Photokina. A 1" sensor camera with 18-50mm or similar and a viewfinder would go nicely alongside my RX10. However, given Sony's apparent problems actually getting cameras in shops, announcements aren't worth much.

If we saw a camera like that I would seriously consider selling everything else.
 
No bloody evf again! Like the coolpix A that no one bought because it didn't have a evf.

I don't like back screen shooting, even with a compact. I occasionally use the back screen for tilt viewing and shooting etc but not for normal shooting with any half serious camera. Even the lowly Panasonic LF1 I bought as a pocket compact has a useable EVF.
