Nikon D810

As above depends on the condition of the rest of the camera. It's rated to 200,000 actuations but it could go way beyond that. Guess it depends on how many shots you take, and how much the shutter is to replace if you think you'll reach the end of its life.

The amount of lenses you have for your CSC set-ups you can't be far away or even exceeding, from a DSLR set-up. Give it a go you know you want to:D

£1500 for a D810, 24-70mm f2.8 and grip? I'd have his hand off (assuming it's a Nikon lens)

Even if you don't get on with it, I don't think you'd lose too much on it if you were to sell it on. Does seem a good deal with the grip and lens if it's Nikon as mentioned above.

cracking deal! would be worth looking at the overall condition of the body though!

Thanks everybody, but the big thing is i doubt for the photos i take,it wont get used that much, and i only be buying because its a good deal :)

Then you can sell it on for double that and make a profit ;)

You're not going to lose money on this deal and you never know, you might find you like the camera!

Hey, when I connect my D810 to my mac via the USB lead it no longer recognises it. I've tested it with other leads but still not working so I guess there's an issue with the port. It's always been a bit dodgy but now it's defo kaput.
Has anyone else had this issue and more importantly, is my only option to get it fixed to send it to Nikon where they'll spend 3 weeks 'fixing' it?
(I can still import using card reader so all is not lost).

Assuming still under warranty then yes Nikon for repair ... assume you've switched the mac off/on ... can you delete the driver and allow it to find it again on connecting the D810?

How do I do this - sorry, I'm a luddite!
(I've already tried switching on and off and I know it's not the usb port as it works with other items, nor the lead as I've tried more than one).

Sorry Amanda I don't know on a MAC, hopefully someone else with MAC experience can help :)
