Can one of you learned folks please tell me what I need to buy to tether my nikon d810 to a computer as I'm finding it very confusing.....

I just use a 5m USB 3 cable I bought from Amazon. I tried to link to it here, but unfortunately the link I used from my past orders now shows a different item.
It's not a trendy orange, but it works fine for me.
