Nikon d800 shutter count

Hi all Please can anyone advice me on how to find the shutter count on the D800 thanks

Are you using pc or Mac? Mac just open a raw in preview and go tool > show inspector

There are several websites that can give a shutter count if you upload a JPEG. They are easy to find with google, I usually try a couple to get a comparison to ensure the data is correct.

Thanks Old Carlos, This Link worked well. I tried another before I asked the question and although it worked for d200 would not do the d800. Also did the d3200. Thanks again.

Open a file from the camera in Photoshop, then to go to file/file info.... select Raw Data and scroll down to Image Number

Thanks Pookeyhead. I am new to Digital and have not got Photoshop. I have been given the job of disposing of some Digital equipment in a bereavement sale for a friend. Every time there is an enquiry the shutter actuations are asked. I am now (due to help from my new friends) in a position to answer.
