Nikon D800 Battery Grip Cheap cheap

I agree with Gary. Originally I went for a cheap one which turned out to be really bad and did work all the time.

Gary has poseted the same link above in the Nikon D800 thread which I have used to get the Meike grip and I m very plessed with it.

I've been looking into finding a decent 3rd party grip, Meike look well regarded also DSTE, what I like about the DSTE grip they can supply a EN-EL18 battery holder as well as the AA Holder and EN-EL15 Holder.

DSTE MD-D12 Multi

I was wondering if anyone has purchased anything from dstebattery, was any duty and vat requested?

Looks like they don't ship the complete package to the uk which is strange, I expect if you ask them they would?

Here's the link to grip only

You can buy the EL18 and holder separately, bit mor expensive that way than buying the complete package.

I did not realise how many variants there are for sale on ebay and I was more shocked to see what price for a genuine Nikon grip I near fell off my chair.

Had Meike grips on my D7000 and now D7100. Very happy with both.

All buttons and dials work the correct way around and I actually prefer the rubber texture on the grip to that of the camera.
