the sensor in my d80 has popped it mortal coil ,its an ex sensor.no longer with us gone to the great beond its buggerd no more days out sh$T
 
yes , off for repair 2 weeks minimum, it was only 4months old , could i have asked for an immediate replacement?
 
Nasty. Thank f*ck it was under warranty. Pretty poor show for a new camera though. What you been doing to it? ;)
 
Where'd you buy it from? I'd have pushed for instant replacement if I bought it from a shop rather than over the web.
 
took the wife into jessops with a trumped up excuse (just popping in to have a look) long story short ,it became my birthday present. had to get it there and then,ill give them one chance to get it right , if not i may pay the extra and upgrade to aD200 see what happens.
