For the D750, what about the android or iOS Nikon app.

thanks for that had forgotten about the Nikon app was ok in the house would like it to work outside at a distance of 25-50 metres will try it tomorrow

Looked at that don’t think it works at 50 metres thanks for the reply

The best triggers I've found to work well are Yongnuo RF603 N3's.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yongnuo-Wireless-Trigger-Shutter-Transceiver/dp/B004YW79F4

They are more reliable than using wifi or the IR remote. They are radio so don't need line of sight to trigger. I've not tried them to their full 100m range but no reason I can't see why they wouldn't though probably 50m is more reasonable. It's also good you can select the frequency, nice if there are a few remote cameras about. You can use one as the trigger and more than one as receivers to simultaneously trig two or more cameras at the same time. I've tried a few ways to reliably trigger remote cameras, the Yongnuo triggers seem to be the most reliable and easy to use. I've used them on both a D750 and D7200 without any problems.

Couple of photos I've taken with them.
