I've decided to go for a full frame from my Nikon D5300 but I'm torn between buying a brand new D750 or a used D800 from Camera Jungle.I like the idea of having a better camera as in MPs but the D750 has some great reviews.I mainly photograph landscapes and some portraits. What do you think.I have around £1000 to spend on the body.Lenses will come at a later date and thats when I'll sell my D5300.

It all depends…

If you need the sencel count then the D800. For any other reason,
go for the D750… It will support your ambitions very well.

The D750 has excellent low light capabilities but your genre of photography doesn't seem to indicate a need for that ... the D800 on the other hand with its 36MP is ideal for landscapes as it provides better resolution and that would be good for portraits as well. :)

They are both good.
The 800 is tough with full mag alloy shell and shutter is rated at 200K rather than 150K although I don't know if they actually used tougher parts or not.
But if you don't need that or not going to be cropping a lot or making prints large then I would have thought a 750 new is much better than an old 800.
