Nikon D750 Err Message

Manual page 472 ... Camera Malfunction, release shutter - if the error persists or happens frequently send to Nikon Service Centre.
If it's new return it.

Might be a silly thought but is your lens fully attached to the camera? This happened to me once, couldn't fathom what the error was then realised the lens hadn't clicked into ace correctly.

I had this briefly once yesterday, it was just the lens not quite attached correctly in my case, a quick wiggle and switching the camera off and on again fixed it.

Used to get it loads back when I had a D50, particuarly with Sigma lenses that had a bit of play in the mount.

This is exactly what happened to me as I tried to explain in my previous post.

Now I'm properly confused ..... Just followed this link on my phone and I'm told my D750 "IS" affected so I switch the PC on to do it again and fill in the service request and now I've checked again it's "NOT" affected

I've tried it and tried it again and again both on iPhone and PC

IPHONES telling me it's broke and PC is saying it's fine

Which do I believe

Lol.

Give em a call tomorrow mate and explain what's happening.

Has the shutter locked up at any point? If the lens is attatched correctly then there is a good chance it is affected. Mine was jamming more and more but it's now been repaired and all is well.

Never had an issue with it! It's been faultless for over a year now then yesterday happened! It sounded like the shutter jammed when I pressed the button but I thought it was because the battery had died but it wasn't that!

I'll ring them this morning
