Nikon D750 & D780

Now I got the Tamron 70-200 G2 I have been wanting to try it out on the local Swans but they are evading me (Again) so I though this photo of a fisherman on a local sea water lake would be my subject.
Shot at 200mm f7.1 1/250 iso 100
Looks go to me.

I saw a photo of a male lion on Facebook, like this it was a mono conversion but they colour selected the eyes, boy did it make the photo very interesting.
I'm sure I could use another word other than "interesting" ;)

At least the colour is not too bright in his shot.

I seem to be going through a gritty mono stage.

And with the persistent bad weather, puddle jumping is where it's at.

You mean you have a clear sky? What's that like? ;)

Space station passing over the local river (Gannel) tonight. Got lucky with clear skies and the local Coastguard helicopter passing through the shot. Not sure how it looks as my 27" iiyama monitor's back light went yesterday and I'm on a old 4/3 cr-p monitor.

It's cook with both trails, but it's pretty blurred overall tbh.

:help: I know this has probably been asked a million times already in this thread and I apologise profusely in advance, but I don’t have time to read through 822 pages :( I’m looking at ordering a D750, maybe a pair however looking at second hand. I’ve found a couple that I’m happy with the price, I’ve checked serials for the recall information, both have similar shutter counts for similarish money (60k actuations) however one is affected and one isn’t, am I best going for the one that needs the recall and getting the shutter replaced or better off just getting the one that’s unaffected? Or is it a moot point and just order whichever

Without being rude, what price are you paying, Have you thought about a grey market camera?

You aren’t being rude at all :) I had looked at grey a while back but the prices seemed high but admittedly that was a while ago and I hadn’t revisited it :) The prices were between £999 and £1089, there were more available in the £1089 range.

Looking now, Digital Rev are offering a new one for £1100 on offer for the next 16 hours, seems like a pretty good deal!

Edit: looking again, they’re only £1115 not on the deal

Panamoz, 1105 and hdew 1109 so nothing in it really and both come with a 3 year warranty.
No brainer really.

So £1089 used with 60k actuations or £1105 new grey from Panama with 3 year warranty, I know which I'd go for ;)

But if you do want to go down the used line I'd be tempted to get one that's part of the shutter recall and get a shiny new shutter put on there.

Thanks guys! :) while the money makes sense I’m still uneasy about the whole grey scenario, but then again the second hand ones are only coming with 6 months of warranty whereas I can get 3 years for similar money, which makes sense in itself  then there’s the fact it’ll be coming with a brand new battery instead of a used one...

Okay I think I’ve convinced myself

£989 at e-infinity.
One year warranty and the turn around time for repairs could be several weeks, ie, send back to them (UK), it gets sent to HK repaired then returned back to you.

I wouldn’t give it a second thought.

Shooting the moon with a 200mm lens, that's a challenge ;) Impressive detail considering (y)

Thanks. Was determined to get a shot. Nearly gave up though as was trying to focus with the live view - using the tilting screen due to the angle. It just would not focus either manually or af. Turned it off and looked through the view finder and it nailed focus straight away.
