I did like all the manual dials of the XT1, maybe the DF-2 will interest me ;)

But a pain to turn on and off auto ISO? I do like the black DF though. Some talk of a DF2 coming.
 
I don't use auto, it would have been pushing 25k in that cave at the weekend. :LOL:

I do have a proper dedicated AF-ON button though. Again, something I don't use. :rolleyes:

Love the round VF but it's a shame it doesn't have the blind like the D5/7/800 series.

Oh eye the blind and the round VF is lovely
 
Been looking at some reviews of the 70-200mm FL and it seems my 'concerns' about the switching round of the focus and zoom rings are being echoed. Those that have had hands on are saying that, due to the way you rest the lens in your hand when you turn the zoom ring your palm accidentally turns the focus ring. I'd have to try it for myself but it doesn't sound promising. Add to that it's £2650 I wonder how well it's going to sell? So that's the DL's they've ballsed up on, and can't help but think this is another faux pas.
 
So, I mainly applied because a backlink is good for SEO, and I do know people who've applied and been rejected, and while it's nothing big, I'm still pleased. Anyway, I'm now on Fearless.

And I'm determined to get out and take some shots this weekend, so it's my fault if it rains all weekend.

haha possibly! I'm now lusting after the 105mm, but my wife might divorce me if I buy that...

Might adapt it for my site "fearless? you'd have to be to book me"
 
Got my bag today, (late b`day pressie)
21.90 was the cost in euros, it seems ok for that price, i`m not bothered that its not a named brand, slightly padded interier and lots or pockets including a laptop pouch.
Takes the D750 with the 300mm on laying down plus room for lots of bits (Maybe could do with me sowing it down the inside middle) to make a partition so that it supports the D750/300 combo plus have room in the other side for a lens or 2. We`ll see.
