Nikon D750 & D780

Raynox 250's are OK for a cheap way into macro and you can get decent results but a decent macro lens is much better. I started out with the Raynox (in fact I still have it somewhere) and it was a great learning tool, as when I bought my first 105mm macro it was so much easier than the raynox ;)

Yeah appreciate it is. But just a big difference in price from a clip over. For something that may only be a whim haha

Just returned from a few weeks in Perth WA, had an amazing time, I usually just take my X100S on holidays but couldn't help but take the D750 for this big trip and I am glad I did :-)

Here are a some pics from the trip:

@daygo30 great series of images, well worth taking the D750. I particularly like x, y and z ;) :p

Loving the dolphin one. I do have a soft spot for flipper.
Great colours looks like a great trip.

Bit quiet on here over the last couple of days :nikon:

Anyone with clear skies heading out for the best meteor shower of the year tonight? Geminids 120 meteors per hour at a dark site. The full moon will block most of the fainter ones though and the light high haze cloud will block the rest down here but you won't see any indoors....

Pretty damn miserable here :(

The Wife wanted to send out personalized Xmas cards this year - so this is what's going on them.

It's far from technically perfect (a pixel-peepers nightmare!), I'm fully aware of that, but I kinda like it - and Joseph was doing his utmost to make it hard work for me by trying to pull the hat off.

The stupid bloody eye piece fell off my D750 so I need a replacement. Before I pick up the standard one, I wondered if anyone used anything else? Like a circle one that you get on the D810 etc?
