Nikon D750 & D780

Never lost that much, dont plan on it either tbh. A used a7rii at a reasonable price... Good luck.

The crazy thing is that your d750 with Nikon Gs weigh about as much as the a7rii and lens.

Agreed, @rookies, not that I'm advocating a system change but if you're looking to go lighter, look at M43 (micro four thirds), some of the Olympus glass is very special when I had it my entire kit fit in one shoulder bag, it was liberating and if I wasn't such a picky b****r about shallow DoF I would still have the E-M1 now

Sorry folks if i am posting too many images I just feel it may encourage me more know what I mean.. Rather than looking at new systems

Nice shots Andrew and great to see your daughter posing for you. For portraits, try to use the 70-200. Just go and shoot more and if you are not able to get out see your pics and try composition by cropping.

If you shoot more, you may realise if the Nikon system is for you or not and then decide.

I am heading towards Primrose Hill now and taking the 70-200 2.8. I know well that I won't be shooting much, but sometimes it is not about how many shots I am taking rather the enjoyment from photography.

You have the best 70-200 2.8 glass one can buy today, so just go and shoot. If you don't want it, I can swap it with my Tamron 70-200 2.8 [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]

Well that's some of my GAS sorted, new sigma 150-600 c, and new tamron 70-200 VC. Now thinking about a new D500 to go with the Sigma lol. Not ever getting rid of my D750 mind, too great a camera.

I'd like a D500 to go with my 150-600 too, I'm only £1700 short in saving up for one ;)

HaHa, Im in the lucky position to be able to get one, only trouble is they are like the D750 at the mo ,hard to find.

Lol suppose ur right but she impossible to pose with a backdrop will have to take it out on a walk

Hubba. I don't really do wildlife. But I really NEED a Siggy 150-600 and a D500.
My D750 is a year old with less than 500 clicks...

Just been looking through some images I took the other week I not got round to process when we were away..

Not too sure if this works or not.

Not sure, have't got past the "oooo, that looks good" stage. I don't really need it though to be honest
Well the choice between the c and s is whether you want to save weight and your wallet and be happy with IQ 95% as good as the s, or whether you have to have that extra 5% IQ and willing to carry a lens that's 2.9kg and puts you several hundred pounds more out of pocket ;)

I Brought the c to try and save some weight ,im not bothered about weather sealing, and from what I have read there is not much diff in quality. i also ordered the dock as they never had one in stock in the shop. Hope to get it before I go to the farne islands on wed. any one got any settings for BIF ?. Any one want a 80-200 f 2.8 lol.

@razer I need a 80-200mm f2.8 but within the hour as just heading out down the beach for the Night Surf finals. Do you by any chance fly a helicopter lol

Nope, not much difference IMO. And I would suspect even less so in the real world.

I'd like to try an S for myself just to see how heavy they are, but if I'm going to lug that kind of weight around I'd almost want it to be a prime ;) I have tried my Tamron using a flash (which adds 700-800g IIRC) but obviously the weight distribution is different. Was a heavy setup though.

You guys are just way to tchatty on here, the time to link a picture and i'm already four pages behind.... but anyhow i still jump in the "baby with food" queue, my one is 7 months old tomorrow and still a veggie but not for long...

Thanks George
I did let lucky with these, none are cropped at all :D It was a fun show. Just a shame it started raining. Driving home soaked through, wasn`t fun at all ;)

There was some serious muscle there too :)
