Nikon D750 & D780

Anyone know where I can get some free Light room templates? Looking to add my own style to wedding photos but no idea where to start!

Loads out there, I just googled free lightroom presets and took it from there. I recently bought some though and really rate them. They're presets galore and you get over 400 presets for about £20 IIRC, with a lot of nice film style presets. Much cheaper than VSCO.

There's a few free ones on there too.

We've got the 'British Super Bikes' event on my doorstep (Knockhill race Circuit - Central Scotland) on Sat 25th/Sun 26th June so I'll be trying my panning skills over those couple of days. A few large memory cards and a monopod etc.......and patience.

:)

Monopod? What is this contraption you speak of?
Think I'd need one for the 150-600mm, I'd imagine panning at 600mm is pretty tricky. Panning at 200mm with subjects quite far away is a doddle  :exit:

(although not at 1/8s ;))

If you are looking to add your own style using presets probably isn't the way to go. I quite like Mastin Labs and NIK which is free.

I think presets are a good place to start. Get something that's some way to why you want and then start tweaking. Going through presets and looking at what changes they've done to get the results they did has really helped me learn and understand how to get styles from Lightroom.

I have all 7 VSCO packs but i tend to stick to the same few. I usually apply a preset and end up tweaking it in some way.

I used to do the same I have a couple I made myself which I use a lot, other than that the Martin Fuji ones can be nice when toned down a bit.

This! Going to find one I like and tweek. I need to understand what changes what!

A good afternoon at the British Finals of the Thundercat Racing at Fistral. Shame about the crappy overcast monotone grey skies and virtually no surf. Crazy fast boats 50MPH with one guy driving and the other for ballast.

What's the best option on a reasonable budget (max £600) to cover 100mm ish these days? Can't believe Nikon or Sigma still haven't introduced a new 135mm lens.

I've owned and love the 105 f2 DC before so that's top of the list, just wondered if there any alternatives.

Not really, just the 105 and 135 DC's if you want primes.

If looking at zooms are any of the third party 70-200s reliable (particularly AF), or is it worth hunting down an 80-200 AF-S (owned and loved)? VR isn't a requirement.

Samyang 135, zeiss 135, zeiss 100, nikkor 105 2.8.

Should have said but (quick) AF is a necessity.
