Nikon D750 & D780

Lol yeah ;)

Been going through them today on the computer and I think I may have jumped the gun a bit, did that before too :oops: :$ Dunno why they looked so bad on the cameras LCD. I'd say there's less than 10 missed focus, and probably another 10 that aren't as sharp as I'd like, but that's from just over 1500 shots so not bad really :p

ARUK are going to have a fair few pics to choose from :oops: :$:LOL:
You shouldn't be worried as even pros get more % of oof shots than what you got looking the ratio. [emoji1]

Local library has copies of the Telegraph in, so going to have a trawl through the last 3 weeks copies to see if I can find the image. I assume they'd buy the image shortly before publication anyway

I saw a allot of negative feedback many years ago now regarding Lehmanns. At the time I needed a front element replacing but sent the lens back to Canon in the end. Seems like they are still offering a poor service, hope you at least get it back fully operational.

@minnnt

David, I would ask to see the manager (and only the manager) when you arrive, explain politely the the grievances you have about the service and the fact that the bill is considerably more than original quoted. Say that you are really not happy, and as it stands at the moment that you don't feel that you could recommend them to anyone. Ask him/her in lieu of all the aggro whether there is something that could be done about the final invoice.

There is no point in speaking to anyone other than the manager, as they will only have to get him/her to authorise anything anyway, and you'll just have to repeat the same story again!!

Hope it all works out for you.

I've just got back with it but I think I shall email the manager anyway with a few of my thoughts and issues. The guy who I dealt with just blamed Nikon... Never mentioned any of their shortcomings or inefficiency, surprise surprise....

Camera seems great, no proof of whether the shutter recall has been carried out or not though.

Wow, I would be so p***ed off right now!! Wouldn't be too harsh on yourself, you would expect the shop to have tested it before they handed it over to you!

She looks old enough to be my Mum :eek:

.. gentle reminder.. it's generally considered poor form to comment on a model's appearance other than from a photographic PoV, or for the appropriateness of the model to the scene being created.

fwiw I posted in here rather than one of the critique groups 'cos it's a fun pic I'd like to share but I know it's got lots of flaws, not least my processing which is a bit rough and ready.
Oh, and lastly.. Jada is moving from glamour to fitness modelling 'cos she's knows she's not getting any younger.
