So @rookies spends about 3 years deciding what lens to buy ranging from £180 used item, then goes and buy a £1200 top of the range lens.
Hope you don't have any complaints as they don't come sweeter than that.
And no, I'm not jealous...at all....honest...
Never use the pop up. Used the SB700 on camera but bounced.Notice you been using flash for these I guess not the onboard one? As you done well using flash
The MKII is rubbish, stick with a 1.4x or 1.7x, even the MKIII 2X loses a fair bit of IQ, you wouldnt go wrong with the Kenko im sellingAlready been thinking of one LOL. but not that one pro a MKii i have seen for £120
I bought one for mine, but don't use it now tbh as the lens hood is good protection. YMMVOh f*** forgot about filter think I've a few 77mm kicking about hope it 77

My thinking too but with the Sony system...... the G Master lens is calling my nameYep though it through and i though b****r it I go for the full whack and then it less faffing about it will stay with me as long as it live.. I am going to get Proper lens and keep to the same system and just upgrade the body when a nice one appear.. D820 swings to mind..
Flash sync speed is 1/200 or 1/250 so can't use shutter speed faster than this. The SB700 has HSS.Really are good images those pal.. I notice with the pop yup flash can't use shutter faster than 200 or am i getting it wrong.. you were using 400 on those images?

As I said, the SB700 has HSS (high speed sync)Strange when it says 1/400 on flickr....

It says the promotion starts from 17/03/16, today is the 16th. Does that mean you bought your 70-200mm VRII a day too early?
Got it a day early yes but not been billed for it yet so it not paid forIt says the promotion starts from 17/03/16, today is the 16th. Does that mean you bought your 70-200mm VRII a day too early?lol
Hate protective filters myself for the exact same reasonsThere are different opinions about using a filter. I never use a filter for three reasons - 1. I use the hood as a protection 2 - See no point in buying an expensive glass with all those coatings and then stick another glass in front of it and degrade the image. 3. The front element of most lenses and specially the pro ones are more durable and can take a lot of beating than most people think. Non photographic Filters are also seen as a marketing gimmick by stores to make good money.
Nice one.....Got it a day early yes but not been billed for it yet so it not paid for![]()
