Well, that's no excuse really.... if you want to take photos, go and take photos, not waste time wondering what your photos could look like if you had this or that lens...
For what it's worth, I have vision problems, and I don't waste any time taking photos...

Why is it no excuse if you have a difficulties then surely it is.. Thank you

But, you've been offered so much information, over and above what most other members get....now you just need to decide what you want from your camera/lens etc...

Mate why dont you just get a 70-300 used. If you don't use it it hasn't cost much and you can just sell it for what it cost. Stop going round in circles. Buy it, try it, move on.

That is a lovely sharp lens there pal did you do a MA for AF?

Ok I am going to ask this question once.. I have tried a Nikon 70-300 VR today and i though it was clicky of some sort either it the Focus or the VR is the tamron 70-300 the same??

A couple of bird pics from me, in-case you're missing them.;)

Little wren been visiting the garden over the last few days, it doesn't seem interested in feeders and is happy searching on ground for food. Fast little birds and one I find hard to capture as they don't keep still, not for me anyway. Nice to use the camera again after ops. Clare has been setting up on tripod for me before going to work.

Thanks Lee,

Just nice to use the camera again, although, still a little difficult using one handed on the tripod. It keeps me happy!

You got the tamron 70-300 is yours click??

As the nikon 24-85 doesn't well mines doesn't

I've had 2 Tamron 70-300's and you can feel the VC engage when you press the shutter button. The Nikon 70-200 VR is the same. As is the Sigma 150-500 and 150-600.

From experience the longer the focal length the more noticeable the VR/VC/OS will be when it activates.
