It is a great image, really sharp. BUT you already have a lens capable of images like this![]()
PMSLI didn't think he had any lenses.

Am doing tmr.....
Haha, brilliant. You don't get this in the D800 thread.
So you are buying a lens tomorrow, about time! But which one?!
I let you have a guess on that... LOL
£780 or something like that can't remember. it is a great lens buy it.@anibap can't get over that image how much did you pay for that tamron? Notice you used flash on that one but works really well

That because they're out taking pictures...

@rookies if/when you do eventually buy a lens I would strongly urge you not to look at any other lenses and start to wonder/worry if they're better than the one you've bought. Just take shots and be happy with the results you're getting, if you're not happy then chances are it's down to you
If you think you will buy a lens and then worry if there's better out there then just buy the VRII as it can't be beaten (other than by primes).
Well I have narrowed it down to these 2 lens..
Tamron 70-200 F2.8 as above look at the crop it lovely and looking on flickr it seems a damn fine lens for the money.. and can be got for £700 Grey
Or
Tamron 70-300 VC which is reserved at the moment at Jessops to collect tmr..

You can find it cheaper elsewhere like this oneWell I have narrowed it down to these 2 lens..

Can you vouch for this site, not heard of them before? You can find it cheaper elsewhere like this one

Please note the 70-300 Tamron is a nice lens, but can't match the 70-200 2.8. I have used both.
Not as I know of someone turn down £580 for oneSee id rather stay with Nikon. The VR1 can be had for £600...
