Nikon D750 & D780

Hmm this Tammy 70-200 2.8 pop up again as that another along with the Nikon version I can't decide between

Great set of images John @JohnN , my personal fav's would be the first shot (The Lad) and the last shot (Who's Coming).(y)

George.

Thanks all, I think I agree, my favs the last one by a fair way, you just can't fake that look, then maybe the first or second, but the half a heart one certainly ticks some boxes, in fact I just used it for their grandmas birthday card

I agree with Twist, if you plan to use a converter then you've no choice (I presume I've not researched personally as I used one years ago and the af hit was too high)

I've never personally lost one, but I'm beginning to think they should be sold in bags of 50!

Now u made it easier. Nikon it is as want use TC

Drop a bit of double sided tape on the back of it when you get one. Amazon would be a good bet.
So long as it's direct from Amazon. I couldn't believe that fake Nikon lens caps are available until I got one from an Amazon seller. It does the job, but the silver rubbed off the logo in no time. Which saved me some gaffer tape to cover it up...

Good god, over 30 mins without a post!! Best sort that out!

All bar the first one (which was with the Tammy 90mm macro) were with the Tammy 70-200 2.8 - I thought I'd better get an airing :)

How quickly does the macro focus when used like this? I'm gonna chop in my (loathed) 85/1.8G against a macro - either an old Nikon 105 or maybe the Tamron 90.

I've not used the 105 to compare, but the Tammys okay to focus as long as you remember it's a macro, it did the job though and I never once considered it too slow

The same as he said about 10 pages ago? ;) my most recent shots are with the VR model. Not quite as sharp as the Tamron but it has superior rendering imo.

Yeah he did but that slipped my mind.

It was the sharpness that played me up as i believe tamron is sharper

Ta. I might have to track one down to play with.

Sharper than the VR not the VRII imo.

And no I don't talki do buy when deals are right

I'm really impressed with mine. Great performance.
Agreed, you're really splitting hairs with these lenses. Your images speak for themselves and a great example for any of those wanting to see what the lens is capable of.
