Or that you are INCREDIBLY unlucky.
I love these cameras so I hope your right
So much for picking my lens up today. After the crap service i received from TNT on Thursday, I've experienced even more today. Arrived the Nottingham depot at 9am as instructed by the CS advisor i spoke with and it was all locked up. Closed until Monday.
Brilliant.
The Night Before the Morning After (1-366) by Shaheed Rahman, on FlickrI've found it okay, although it doesn't seem to fire my triggers.Anybody got any tips on how to get the best from the app? I'm going to attempt a 366 so thought it might be a useful way of doing self portraits - did a quick one last night but the app is a bit of a pain to use - it seemed to focus ok at f1.4 though.

Thats interesting to know - was going to try using OCF with the app - might have to stick to using the CLS if I do this then.I've found it okay, although it doesn't seem to fire my triggers.
TNT are burgers for doing this! This was after they falsely stated that they tried to deliver the item (knocked on the door, no answer) on NYE which they didn't as the wife, kids, mother in law and sister in law, nephew and niece were all sat in the front room.
Luckily the forecast tomorrow looks rubbish anyway so it wouldn't have been used anyway but it just means the missus faces another day waiting in. This could cost me another trip to the shops which is bad news.
Meh.
Cracking captureThank you all for the positive feedback on my last post

Thanks#2 is a cracker ... The perfect "Ugly Duckling"
Most couriers are the same. Mostly because of s***e drivers wanting to knock off early. How can they (couriers) be so awful yet remain in business? Of course I am generalising but most of us would be out of business /a job if we worked like they seem to.
Hopefully the drive to and from the collection point wasn't too long..
"Cracking" shot Paul, great comp' & detail, and spot on exposure.
George.
Okay, so I've had a week with the camera now and I can honestly say that I love it. The ergonomics, the IQ, the WiFi, AF - everything is awesome.
EDIT: Anyone who knows me will understand how big a deal this is.![]()
I've had more than my fair share of camera issues! You've done your fair share of moaning, it has to be said!

New batteries? I find mine can stop working even when the battery indicator shows 1/4 left.I have a Meike grip for mine that came with a remote. The remote stopped working ( no green led when you press the shutter release, and no shutter release) so I was sent another one....which is exactly the same. I'm beginning to think I am doing something wrong. Both are set at channel 00, and neither work.
Anybody else had any problems with their Meike remote?

Coal Tit by Swansea Jack, on FlickrNice pics Paulie and Simon. My new toy has finally been delivered and is waiting for me at home! Hurrah! Downside is that it's dark when i get home and the weather forecast shows no signs of letting up anytime soon. I have the dock coming this week also and I'm contemplating ordering a set of covers for the lens.
I've recently got the sport version but not had time to use it with chrimbo and the weather. Will be interested in the benefit of the dockNice pics Paulie and Simon.
