Nikon D750 & D780

I just want to know what software do people to use for conversion from Raw images to Jpeg in Nikon D750? I have only LR4 and is of no use.Any suggestions?

I think there`s a converter from adobe (can`t remember what it`s called), but why not use capture NX D to convert? It`s free :)

The only thing spilling today is my guts when MrsUaeExile gets home and sees this on my desk.....Oh boy:facepalm:

Suck on that @AndrewSt :p

She wouldn't know the difference between the 50/58 but I'm really regretting telling her I really wanted this lens a few months ago.

I think my exact words were, "basically, it's really f****** expensive"

Download the free Adobe DNG converter Ramesh, convert your D750 files to DNG (there's no loss in quality) and then import them & process them in LR4 as you wish. "Job Done".(y)

I love love love that lens! Looking through the exif of my weddings, there's a couple where 90%+ of the shots are from the 58. It's well worth the money!

Rooky error!!

That 58mm is in itch I am going to have to scratch. Gonna add it to my Santa list :)

Yeah, I keep looking at that bad boy too, please don't post anything up Adam

On another note, fell foul to a silly little error somehow the other day. Noticed that my 750 had gone into dx area mode somehow. Hadn't realised that there's an additional function that can be added to the fn or PoV button by scrolling the command dial, no idea how that was set and how I'd accidentally activated it.

Unfortunately, the 58 is slightly further down my shopping list still. I really need a FF second body, the D7000 struggles massively compared the the D750 and if using primes properly it's much easier than changing lenses.

Probably stick with the 35/85 combo for now but a 24/58/70-200 might be the plan by next Christmas.

Anyone using the sigma 24 for weddings? The 35 is ace, love the colours and it focuses quickly, wondering if the 24 is the same. The new Nikon 24 1.8 is also fairly interesting, paired with a 35 though the 20 1.8 would probably serve me better. Basically I want more kit!! Lol

Thanks very much for the info.I will try this.

Quite happy with my 610 as a back up body Andrew. A few minor differences that I can live with but I really can't tell the difference in the files.

Thanks Andy. Interesting. Do you just like the focal length or does it have special powers?
Clearly it has special powers

Wow that is one hell of a lens, drool.

I'm just getting to grips with the 750, so glad to have a dslr again, the handling is excellent and all the controls where I can find them, really happy. The mirror less systems are great, but having quite big hands I never gelled with them. It's like coming home again [emoji4]. Will be shooting this weekend for sure...

Lol I know the feeling. I wonder sometime how everyone else's children look so tidy in there images or when out.
Where as mine look like they have been dragged through a bush 10 min after getting them dressed up and there hair done.

Looks like a nice lens that.

Anyone been impress with the 50mm 1.8 I know it a cheap lens but what you'd though pls?

Yes it's a very nice lens. I'll take mine on Saturday so you can try it if you like?

Do we get confirmation for Saturday as I've heard nothing back

The 50mm F1.8 and the 35mm F1.8 DX are both cracking lenses, especially when you consider how cheap they are. The 35 DX works pretty well on the D750 as well, just some vignetting.

Yeah but usually only the day before or even the same day ;)

Saw a 35mm DX for £55 yes £55 but didn't get it as DX damn it was used in local post office window advert.

You a sample? Do u set d750 to DX?
