Well, it seems I've managed to lose the battery door from my D750. :( Anyone had similar and have any advice on where to source a replacement?

Can get them from UK seller on ebay for £18 ish

Speak to Nikon UK I lost mine from the D7100 and they were far cheaper then amazon or ebay

Thanks folks, I'll give Nikon a try first as £18 seems a bit excessive...

Grays of Westminster, 40 Churton Street, Pimlico, London, SW1V 2LP.

They may have spare parts. Some months ago, I went there to try to see if I could pick up better battery charger to replace the cheap 3rd party one I got, hopefully one or two more spare batteries, and if possible a battery compartment cover (or as you call it a "door"). I they did get one for me.

Actually I should point out that I bought my D200 with the MB-D200 attached, second hand, and it did not come with any boxes, manuals, or whatever. I thought maybe original owner lost the battery compartment cover, but I didn't know that the MB-D200 grip, could hold the cover. It was at Grays, that the guy there just pulled it out and showed it to me, and I thought "What! You meant I had it all that time, after all?" :-)

As far as I know, they do have some possible spare parts, including compartment cover. So try them and see what comes up. Who knows, you may get lucky.

I'm afraid Grays are a little out of my way being up in sunny Lancashire, but thanks for the info!

Well I ended up going with an eBay seller based on the Isle of Man in the end after spending a few days getting nowhere slowly with Nikon - £18 delivered seems excessive, but it arrived within a couple of days and appears genuine as they stated. At least my camera is back in one piece and I can carry on without worrying about the battery...

You could write to them or phone them up, see if they have one, and if they do have one, they could post it to you.
