Hi
I am looking for a generic replacement type for the D7200 , can,t justify spending the money on the original Nikon one that cost nearly £200..
I have heard stories about some buttons not working and original batteries not being recognised. Can anybody recommend a good one??

Thanks..

I've got meike one that works on a D7200 although it's not had much use if I can't say how well it fairs long term. Original batteries and third party ones seem to be fine with it. The build isn't as good as the OEM battery grips (I've had a OEM Nikon one that fitted the d7100 before and still have one on my D750). The screw up connection just doesn't seem as secure as the Nikon ones I've used. The Meike grip is ok, it does the job but there is a reason the Nikon ones cost more as fitand materials are better (although the new price is a little silly, second hand for £90-100 seems more like it time). If you can find a second hand Nikon one I feel they are worth the extra price.

I have a Nikon grip on my D7200 and it works, fits and feels fine.
I have a Meike grip on my D500 and it works, fits and feels fine.
